Minister ACHIMBI Bertha CHIANAN
To begin with my studies in Destiny has helped me to be very efficient in the handling and understanding of the Word of God.
Even though one can never boast of completely understanding God and all His ways, Destiny has sharpened my knowledge of God and above all in the dishing out His Words.
I can teach across every age group of the church without fear, thanks to Destiny.Destiny also helped me to get closer to my community especially to the widows. My thesis was on widows rites in my community. So I use my thesis to get closer to the widows and share in their pains, and help them to see that they are very much loved by God their husband.
I think through my working with the widows , most of them have come to realize their rights vis-à-vis the government; and most have stood up against some of the inhumane rites, that they were first accepting for fear of being bewitched or cursed.Fir this I want to say thank you Destiny.
Being of the first batch and now a lecturer in the same institution,I can say I have also impacted my students in one way or another.
I remember my first course I taught was discipleship, and the feedback I got from some of them was positive. Some actually told me that they were using what I taught them to disciple their Christians.
Now with the Greek for beginners my students are all happy in studying the original language of the NT.Hopefully with a further study of this language, I think we (my students and myself ), will be able to do a good interpretation of the NT.
Destiny has also helped me to be a teacher also in the Bible institute of my church where I fellowship and also in teaching lessons from the Cameroon Baptist Convention to the different fields.
Tsam LUDOVIC NYIA
I am Tsam LUDOVIC NYIA, a pastor with CNBC working at Macedonia Baptist Church Iso. I am also a facilitator at Baptist Evangelical School of Theology (BEST Fundong). I am a current student at Destiny Higher Institute of Theology and Development Studies, who is studying MC (Masters in counseling psychology).
Since I started my journey with Destiny in 2022, it has not been anything short of impactful, educational, and exploratory. I have been shown theology from different lenses, and taught to contextualise it impartially.
My congregation and community now benefits from very good counseling skills and knowledge. They are happy they now have a professional ear that can listen to them and understand their challenges. The church experiences renewal both at delivery and organizational set up which is helping the church to experience great growth.
Destiny has trained me on contextualizing the gospel to the African context.

Ndichia Amos Mbangtang
“Personally, I’ve been impacted all-round, spiritually, physically, emotionally, and more.
I’m able to examine and present scriptures more deeper than ever. Bold enough to defend the Gospel factually at the personal level. Church management is another area where God is doing marvelously in my life not to talk of sensetivity at the level of my audience.
Destiny shaped my mentality and I use a few people to raise a magnificent church structure in Atoini, a memorable legacy. Also, the church in Atoini has developed the village in many ways, one of them being the construction of a modern borehole water in the church compound open for the entire community, and the construction of bridges with plank etc.
I’m one of the latest graduand of Destiny, who offered MDIV. Ex student.
I’m Ndichia Amos Mbangtang, the new pastor of Bethel Baptiste Church Twantoh, Njinikejem, Belo Sub Division of the North West Region of Cameroon.
Destiny has created a new pastor Amos in me, and how I wish all pastors understand and drink from this wonderful spring of living water and change the world for Christ alone.
Long live Destiny,
Long live this Vision of shaping lives for the kingdom. Amen.”
Dr. Eric S Mbuh
In the hallowed halls of Destiny Higher Institute of Theology and Development Studies, my journey as an educator has been profoundly transformative. As I stood before a myriad of eager minds, I embraced the divine calling to unravel the profound mysteries of Theology, illuminating the profound truth that its study extends far beyond the pulpit or the sacred walls of the church. Theology, I’ve learned, is not a dusty relic reserved solely for those destined for clerical robes; it is a vibrant, living discipline that beckons to all, regardless of vocation. With each lesson, I was privileged to witness the dawning of realization in my students’ eyes—the recognition of Theology as a pathway to deeper understanding, a tool to critically engage with the world, and a foundation to rightly divide the word of truth. The experience in Cameroon has not merely been about teaching; it has been a crusade against the confines of ignorance, a campaign of enlightenment encouraging individuals from every walk of life to join an intellectual and Spiritual adventure. My heart swells with gratitude for the opportunity to contribute to this paradigm shift, ignoring a passion for divine wisdom in the hearts of the seekers of truth.

Impact of destiny institute on your and your community or congratulations etc. Destiny provided me with the opportunity to teach Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes, and to supervise students for their theses. This was an opportunity for growth both spiritually and academically as I was challenged by personal stories from students’ life and ministry experience.
